buddy spy is so outdated. why not use yahoo messenger invisible detector sites, like ydetector .com Most the time they are accurate : Just wondering ... do you really need to monitor your buddies every second they log in to their ym o_-

buddy spy is broken.. cant even login to it.. it says the username and password is incorrect... when in fact it is 100correct!!! CANT USE IT!! CANT EVEN LOGIN!!! SO FUKED UP!

after I installed it, I couldnt open it. Its said that component MSWINSCK.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

uys I have a problem..when I open my buddy spy, it says this application has failed to start because msvbvm60.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
I tried to reinstall it...

Hey guys I have a problem..when I open my buddy spy, it says "this application has failed to start because msvbvm60.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

Here's the fix for XP Pro users, maybe all. ( First uninstall your current version from Add/Remove programs in Control Panel )

Download both files,

Buddy Spy 2.2.10 / BuddySpySetup.exe 943 kb
Buddy Spy 2.2.11 RC 10 / BuddySpy.exe 140 kb ( Save to DeskTop )

Install Buddy Spy 2.2.10 / BuddySpySetup.exe 943 kb first,
(NOTE: After install, goto Programs folder and open Buddy Spy, reaname the BuddySpy.exe to BuddySpy10.exe)
On the Desktop rename that BuddySpy.exe to BuddySpy11.exe, then copy over to the BuddySpy folder.
Ya done, ENJOY!!!

If you all used the site for Buddy-Spy you could use Unsakred's forum(owner & creator of BuddySpy)
The problems have all been answered in his forum. As for the latest release 11RC- it means release candidate, Unsakred is trying to work the bugs out. The last release no longer worked due to Yahoo upgrading etc. You have to give him time to work on it, it is a free program & one I personally love.
To answer everyone who cant seem to LOG IN due to INVALID NAME & PASSWORD, here is the solution.. When you download the latest RC, you MUST SAVE IT TO WHERE THE BUDDY SPY FOLDER IS ALREADY SAVED. So AGAIN I am stating: if you already have had Buddy Spy downloaded on your PC(such as 2.2.10 & now you are downloading the RC 2.2.11) you need to save it to the Buddy Spy Folder that already exists on your PC ...OR your screen name and password will always say invalid. I am trying to state it in easiest form. For other issues, visit Buddy Spy's site & forum, which is listed in the programs info section. Unsakred addresses all problems there... www.buddy-spy .com

This is in reply for all those folks, who say they get invalid user name or can't log in....You need to set up a SEPARATE yahoo account, and that name should be used exclusively to run buddy spy. You can not log in with same name to both BuddySpy and Messenger simoultaneously. Have to have two diff names, two diff accounts!!!!.....That should solve the problem

Its a very nice software. but the thing is that it should run parallel to yahoo messenger. If i log in to yahoo messenger, buddy spy automatically log me out and vice versa

i have downloaded buddy spy 2.2.11.after installation, i tried to open that. but it displays "failed to load "winsock" from MSWINSOCK.OSX. your version MSWINSOCK.OSX may be outdated. Make sure that u r using the version of the control that was provided with ur application"....so plz help me out to install it sucessfully
