its really bad that ur page updated without checking whether anybody was downloading the file or not..my net speed is slow coz i used through mobile..so it takes almost 7 hours to download the file.. when i am downloading and i reached upto 80 to 90.. u peple update the link..and my file didnt download at full and dont be useable so i again try ..again and again.. and become sick..come on.. when ever u upload the new file plz check whether anybody downloading it or not...or atleast the previous version also make awailable so the pending download should be completed and if any body wants new one .. he can but dont feel pain coz of uncomplete download file which is useless.. thanks and regards..

even Ive benn 8.5i virus scan enterprise for the past few months.The definitions will be released very often.It doesnt show the duration.I suggest u to update manually for once in every 15 days.Even thats risky..y not have an internet connection n update the antivirus regularly
Once I updated it manually.from then on I do it through the antiviruswith the update option provided.It takes just a few minutes.

Try to make many files with small size containing only the latest update of virus sgnature
Those file must be independant...
for example
1 - if someone have the update of 10 january 2008, it is not necessary to download the large file which contained all signature of virus. Only update file contain the signature of virus january 2008 to August 2008 it necessary to update its McAfee
2 - For a person who never update its McAfee, will need a update contain all virus signature

Another say, i thing you must create a datebase which save all update file of McAfee
1 - Files contains all signature of virus No execption
2 - files contains the 1 latest month signature of virus
3 - files contains the 2 latest month signature of virus
4 - files contains the 3 latest month signature of virus
5 - files contains the 6 latest month signature of virus
6 - files contains the 9 latest month signature of virus
9 - files contains the 1 latest month signature of virus

It is the BEST so far.

i installed "McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0.0" in my pc and even updated it to the latest via internet.But now i dont have internet connection.So i want to manually update the antivirus through SDAT files which i will download at some other computer.
I downloaded the latest SDAT file from here,but when I ran it in my pc it said "No qualifying mcafee component found".
Then when I got my pc connected to the internet and tried to automatically update, it always gives me an error message and doesn't complete the process.
I prefer updating manually cos am not always able to access internet from my pc, but can get the SDAT files from another pc and update!!
Kindly help!!
Please help.
