WinContig is a small defragmentation tool based on Windows API.

One of its big advantages is that requires no installation, being suitable for every user and you can easily run it even from a DVD or USB removable drive.

It can defragment either distinct drives, or files and folders of your choice. The user interface is simple to use and intuitive, files being colour-coded during defragmentation according to their state: fragmented, processed, defragmented, etc.

You can clean junk files prior to defragmentation and you can save profiles with files and folders to be defragmented for quick access at a later time.

The program comes in many languages, like English, Romanian, French, German, Hungarian, Japanese, etc.

You can set exclusions for your tasks and all in one the program does its job very well without altering computer’s performance.
